Columbia: Elegant Spanish Dining
Located in downtown Celebration, Columbia Restaurant is our favorite place for Spanish and Cuban dining. Columbia was founded in 1905 and is still operated by the original family. Their menu includes a huge variety of entrees, but our favorites are the Original 1905 salad and the Arroz con Pollo. For appetizers, we like the Shrimp Supreme and the Empanadas de Picadillo. Anything must, of course, follow a chunk of their warm Cuban bread and creamy butter. The decor of the dining room combines elegance and a Spanish flair with terra cotta tiles, hand-painted pottery, wrought iron chandeliers, and what appears to be family heirlooms on display.
