Seasons 52 Fresh Grill: A Favorite of All Seasons
The creators of Seasons 52 Fresh Grill have developed an ever-changing menu that is always tasty, fresh, and healthy. Seasons 52 is in the Dr. Phillips area which is just west of Interstate 4 on Sand Lake Road. The restaurant sits back from Sand Lake Road and almost seems to belong elsewhere. Prairie style architecture, or as my husband calls it “Brady Bunch” architecture, dominates the exterior of the building with horizontal bands and cantilevering. Think Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright. The contemporary styling is reflected in the interior of the restaurant which is composed of dark wood furnishings, stacked stone, and recessed lighting. Valet service is available though not necessary. And don’t let that fool you. As long as you eat reasonably, the restaurant prices are reasonable. Seasons 52 is a Darden Restaurant. Darden, which is based in Orlando, also owns Red Lobster, Smokey Bones, Bahama Breeze, and Olive Garden. What’s unique to Seasons 52 though, that most other American restaurants lack, is a rotating menu. The chefs at Seasons 52 create a new menu weekly, hence the “52”. Each menu revolves around which fruits and vegetables are reaching their peak for harvest. So every bite is not only fresh but full of flavor. You can’t possibly leave feeling guilty. The meals are all healthy consisting of perfectly portioned entrées that have less than 475 calories without sacrificing flavor. You can even enjoy desserts without the guilt or gluttony. Desserts are served in small glasses, slightly larger than shot glasses, and are priced accordingly. Again, they too are just the right amount. Last but not least, Seasons 52 has an extensive wine selection and a nightly pianist enhances the experience at the bar. Orlando is no longer the only city to enjoy this restaurant, but Seasons 52 delivers a fresh and healthy concept that everyone should try.
