Yellow Dog Eats: Uniqueness in Surburbia
Right in the center of tiny Gotha sits the Yellow Dog Eats, a unique eclectically-styled gourmet cafe. We think it's probably Orlando's most unique restaurant. The Yellow Dog, as one might presume, boasts a canine themed atmosphere and menu, including items like the Retriever's Roast and the Black Lab's Lunch. Menu items include salads, sandwiches, wraps, and bar-b-q chicken and pork. All consist of fresh, healthy, and flavorful ingredients but with a fun twist such as cranberries or an orange-Cointreau mayonnaise. The dining room, which is nestled in a century old farmhouse, is a cozy mix of rustic, bow-wow, and shabby-chic. Guests can also enjoy the back yard garden, the selection of wines and quality-made jams and sauces, or the preciously posted pooch pictures and scribbles from previous guests on the walls and tables.
