Winter Garden: Main Street Appeal
Downtown Winter Garden boasts plenty of quaint small town charm. The main thoroughfare, Plant Street, was part of a major redevelopment just a few years ago. It’s just a few blocks through downtown, but it contains several antique shops, small businesses, restaurants, an historic hotel, and the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, which consists of several historic properties. It showcases our region’s rich history in the agriculture and railroad industries. The West Orange Trail, which was part of the Rails-To-Trails program, runs through the median of Plant Street. Winter Garden is a great little time warp amongst the tremendous growth of the suburbs.
